My Pitch

My charity event idea is to hold a raffle within the college and community. I believe this would be an efficient way to make money, and donate the proceedings for my chosen charity. We could go to the local businesses and ask for some prize donations in turn for their business to be recognized and promoted through our posters and prize giving. I feel we should donate the proceedings to a local charity preferably one that helps out the youth of Paisley, the YMCA looks promising.

The main tasks of this event would be

Acquiring supplies - Raffle book, Prizes
Make a prototype poster to show to businesses - Photoshop poster
Get prizes - Speak to local businesses and try to get prize donations, Buy prizes
Set a date for event - Get date from college
Get a location for the event - speak to college about this
Making a poster to raise interest and advertise for the prize donators - make poster on Photoshop
Go around selling tickets for raffle - Make optimal time to sell tickets
Have Raffle and prize giving - Hold true to our date and time.
Count the money! - Make time to count the money and blog our success
Make a donation - Go to YMCA with the contribution.
